marketers in the sports industry, Leiweke is in his 29th season in professional sports.

Before joining the Lightning in 2010, Leiweke spent seasons as the CEO of the Seattle Seahawks and Vulcan Sports & Entertainment, also overseeing all aspects of the Portland Trail Blazers and Seattle Sounders FC. He has also served as President of the Minnesota Wild and held executive positions with the PGA Tour, the Vancouver Canucks and the Golden State Warriors.

In less than two years with the Lightning, Leiweke has led a revolutionary brand and business transformation for owner Jeff Vinik, spearheading a $40 million renovation of the Tampa Bay Times Forum; a $10 million commitment to the Tampa Bay community and its grass roots heroes through the Lightning Foundation; and a season ticket campaign which added 5,000 new season ticket members and 20 new all-inclusive suite members in the summer of 2011.
