Michael J. Tougias is a NY Times Bestselling author and co-author of 29 books. He is best known for his seven true survival books: So Close To Home, The Finest Hours, Ten Hours Until Dawn, A Storm Too Soon, Overboard, Rescue of the Bounty and Fatal Forecast. The Finest Hours has been made into a Disney movie. Tougias also co-wrote King Philip’s War and a novel set during that war titled Until I Have No Country. He has also written several nature books: including River Days: Exploring the Connecticut from Source to Sea, and Quabbin: A History and Explorers Guide.
