Leading Millennials: Achieving Peak Performance
Working with individuals and teams that span generations can be challenging. With each new generation comes a new set of expectations surrounding communication, motivation and performance. Millennials are the youngest generation in the workforce and quickly becoming the largest, maybe the most influential, generation in our workforce.
What might work to improve performance for a Baby Boomer or Gen Xer could have the opposite effect on millennials. This session is an opportunity to dispel common myths, understand unique motivators, and engage millennials in a way that leverages their unique strengths and talents.
Participants Will Learn To:
- Understand the impact of millennials on our current business environment
- Dispel common “millennial myths”
- Overcome challenges specific to managing millennials
- Utilize specific techniques to keep millennials engaged and motivated
- Leverage emotional intelligence to coach and develop millennials
- Identify and tap into the strengths of millennials
